Subclass 482 Visa Streams

  • This visa stream enables employers to hire skilled international talent for specific professional roles. 
  • Your occupation must be included on the Core Skills Occupation List (CSOL).
  • Visa Validity: Up to 4 years

specialist skills stream

 

  • This visa stream enables employers to hire skilled international talent for specific professional roles. 
  • Your occupation must fall within ANZSCO Major Groups 1, 2, 4, 5, or 6.
  • Visa Validity: Up to 4 years

labour agreement stream

  • This stream is designed for skilled individuals sponsored by employers under an approved Labour Agreement.
  • Your sponsoring employer must have a valid Labour Agreement in place with the Australian Government.
  • Visa Validity: Up to 4 years, as governed by the clauses of the relevant Labour Agreement.

subsequent entrant

 

  • This stream allows family members to apply as subsequent entrants to join a primary 457 or 482 visa holder in Australia. 
  • You must provide evidence that you are a family member of a primary Subclass 482 or 457 visa holder.
  • Visa Validity: Granted for the remaining duration of the primary holder’s visa.

Your English proficiency results are acceptable as long as they were obtained no more than 3 years prior to the date you lodge your visa.
