WHICH OCCUPATIONS DOES ACS ASSESS?
ACS (Australian Computer Society) is authorised by the Australian Government to conduct Migration Skills Assessments for a range of occupations in Information Technology (IT), Data Science, and Cyber Security. A suitable Skills Assessment is a mandatory requirement for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a skilled worker visa.

Post Australian Study
For applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in IT or higher completed in Australia, who have 1 year of work experience in Australia or have completed the ACS Professional Year.
General Skills
For IT professionals with both a relevant qualification (Bachelor’s degree/postgraduate qualification) and several years of work experience.
Recognition of Prior Learning
For experienced IT professionals who do not hold a formal qualification in a relevant field.
Qualification Only
For applicants who wish to apply for Subclass 485 or enrol in the ACS Professional Year
